Our team has 8 years of experience in building 3D models from 2D drawings.

We can create constructability models that can be used for MEP coordination as well as further downstream uses like: construction sequencing (4D), estimating (5D) and project management. We provide a local team so we can respond quickly to the changes that will inevitably come about during the model coordination process. Our expert modelers are capable of converting not only architectural plans, but structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection into 3D systems from the respective engineer’s 2D drawings.

We have local project managers and our teams of expert modelers are proficient in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, NavisWorks, Solibri and 3D Studio Max. ArchiCAD, Revit or Vico Constructor models can work well with either NavisWorks (using the DWG file format) or Solibri (using the IFC file format).

Our team of experts have years of experience in 3D modeling for the building industry and are familiar with all types of building construction. As we build your project virtually for you, we provide a detailed Discrepancy Report that indicates problems we find due to any mis- coordinated 2D drawings, constructability issues, or potential problems that require communication back to the architect for design resolution. Once the Model Coordination process begins, we can then provide quick turn-around time for any changes to the architectural or structural designs as a result of the MEP Coordination Process. Therefore, the MEP project managers know they are always working with the latest version of the architectural or structural models.

We can act as your ongoing BIM Manager or Model Coordinator on an outsourcing basis to handle all of your modeling and model coordina- tion needs since we are already proficient in the constructability model- ing process and are trained on all relevant software. This would allow you to get up and running with the BIM process right away. With outsourcing, you can expand or contract as your needs change, without having to hire or lay off staff.
